Things to do in Plymouth Meeting
From shopping to restaurants, here’s everything you need in Plymouth Meeting.
Restaurants
There are so many dining options within a 10 minute drive, we cannot list them all! Redstone, PF Changs, California Pizza Kitchen, Benihana, Dave and Busters, and Whole Foods are all located at the Plymouth Meeting Mall. There are several other more casual options within the mall as well. Also, check out Plaza Azteca if you are in the mood for Mexican, and there are many excellent smaller Mexican restaurants in nearby Norristown, such as Taqueria La Michoacana. Rocco’s Brick Oven Pizzeria Italian Restaurant is 1 minute away on Sandy Hill Rd. Or, you could try out Mama Venezia’s which is also close-by. Andy’s Diner is a great nearby diner. An excellent takeout option is T’dori on Ridge Pike. Nearby Norristown is known for their hoagies, zeps and pizza, and there are many to try including Eve’s, Lou’s, and many others. In East Norriton, try out Pho Thai Nam for great Vietnamese food, Roots and Charlie’s Pizza, Via Veneto, or Domino’s for pizza and other Italian dishes.
Shopping
Two major malls are nearby. The Plymouth Meeting Mall is about 5 minutes away and King of Prussia Mall is about 15 minutes away. Also, the Metroplex Shopping Center is just a few minutes away, and has many of the major retailers such as Target, Best Buy, Lowe’s, Petsmart, Barnes & Noble, a Giant grocery store, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Bed Bath & Beyond, and 12 more.
Movie Theaters
There are 2 great movie theater options within a 5 minute drive, and between the two, you have fast access to almost all major releases. Check out AMC Plymouth Meeting Mall and the Regal Plymouth Meeting 10.
Recreation
The Plymouth Community Center, is just off of Germantown Pike near the Plymouth Meeting Mall. It offers indoor swimming, a Gym, and all types of programs and classes, camps, and leagues. John F. Kennedy Park is also just a minute away.
Schools
Plymouthtowne is situated perfectly in the award winning Colonial School District.
